Homerton College, Cambridge

We are proud of our association with Homerton College, Cambridge. Our two colleges have a shared heritage in the dissenting academies of the late 18th century and are among the newest colleges admitted to the universities of Oxford and Cambridge; Harris Manchester in 1996 and Homerton in 2010.
A Homerton student, Charles Wellbeloved, went on to become Principal of Manchester College, during its tenure in York, 1803-1840. Seen here is Dr. Waller presenting a copy of a portrait of Wellbeloved to the Principal of Homerton College, Prof. Geoffrey Ward, at an exchange dinner in Cambridge, 2016.
