We had two pleasant occasions on Friday 21st September. The unveiling of the statue to Maevadi Navapan and Karnitha Karnchanachari, who generously paid for the Clocktower, the Navapan Gate and Maevadi Hall, currently under construction. This statue, by Etienne Millner, is erected with thanks and gratitude to two of our major benefactors, who have done so much to support the College and improve the life of our students.
Following this, there was the unveiling of an armillary, by David Harber, generously donated to the College by Sue Llewelyn and Guy Fielding. This is a beautiful creation, full of interest, and including arrows pointing in the directions of Manchester, York, London and Cambridge where we have been connected.
