Dr Alex Nicholls

Dr Nicholls is the Tutor in Management at Harris Manchester College and Lecturer in Social Entrepreneurship at the Said Business School, University of Oxford.

Qualifications:

BA (Hons), MA, PhD, MBA.

Subject:

Social Entrepreneurship.

Research Interests:

Social Entrepreneurship, including: the interface between the public and social sectors; organisational legitimacy and governance; the development of social finance markets; and impact measurement and innovation.

Teaching:

Undergraduate: Introduction to Management; Marketing; Brand Management; Retail Management; Operations Strategy; Supply Chain Ethics; Entrepreneurship; Social Finance
Graduate: MBA Social Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation; MBA Social Finance; MBA Social Enterprise Design; EMBA Social Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation; Project supervision
Research Degrees: Supervision of MSc (thesis) and DPhil students
