Lunch-time Concerts in Harris Manchester College Chapel.

Regular concerts take place in the Chapel.  Members of the public are very welcome to attend this concert series which takes place every Thursday during Full Term at 1.30pm.  Admission is free of charge and there is a retiring collection in aid of the College Music Endowment Fund.

Week 1, April 28th       Baroque Explorations!

Featuring works by Avison, Bach, Handel and Purcell

Week 2, May 5th     Moods of Love

 A celebration of Handel's operatic arias,
with romantic works by Bellini, Hahn & Leslie

HMC students and staff present music, poetry, drawings,
paintings and fractal imagery:
including works by Ireland & Pärt

Week 4, May 19th     Three-hundred Years!

An exciting musical journey, featuring works by Handel, Mendelssohn and Burtonwood

Week 5, May 26th     Sounds Scottish!

Organ music by MacMillan, Major, and Maxwell Davies, interspersed with
Scottish folk melodies
