Professor Joshua Horden co-edits new book exploring role of the Church of England

Harris Manchester Official Fellow Professor Joshua Hordern has co-edited a new book that explores the Church of England’s unique place in society.

A Voice in the Wilderness presents a range of opinions on the Church’s continued public significance, with contributors ranging from politicians, historians and journalists to theologians and experienced clergy. In doing so, it invites readers to reconsider what it means for a church to be “established” in a modern, pluralistic society.
