Accessibility Statement

Accessibility statement

This accessibility statement applies to Harris Manchester College’s main website: www.hmc.ox.ac.uk. It was last updated in April 2026.

This website is run by Harris Manchester and is built on Oxford Mosaic, the University of Oxford’s web platform. You can find information regarding the accessibility features that are common to all sites on this platform in the Oxford Mosaic Accessibility Statement.

Oxford Mosaic websites are compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard.

Non-accessible content

Some older parts of this website may have issues relating to image, audio and video content, PDF and other document formats, or embedded 3rd party tools.

We will shortly be migrating the web site to the University of Oxford’s new Fresco platform. As part of the migration process, we will be carrying out an internal audit of content, which will include fixing any accessibility issues identified.

We use a website accessibility tool to scan all new content that is added to the site and perform a number of manual checks (including for alternative text for images and to ensure that links are suitably descriptive).

Third-party platforms

We regularly create content which is hosted on third-party platforms. This includes content we create for social media (predominantly Bluesky, Instagram and LinkedIn) and video we host on the YouTube platform. Although we take no responsibility for the accessibility of the platforms themselves, we seek to ensure that the content we upload meets accessibility requirements.
