HMC Student Georgina Grant (MPhil History of Science, Medicine, and Technology) raced for Oxford Women against Cambridge Women in the 2021 Boat Race which took place on 4th April.
Although Oxford were eventually beaten by less than a length, it was a close fought race with both sides recognising this to be one of the closest contents ever between the two universities with both adapting well to the lack of supporters and different race course at Ely. Special congratulations go to Georgina and all of the rowing cohort who missed out on the 2020 Boat Race after it was cancelled due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
