Travelling Light: Rivers of Change

Wednesday 5 November, 5.45pm

Travelling Light is Michaelmas term’s series of mid-weekly early evening gatherings for students, fellows, staff, visitors and friends in our beautiful William Morris chapel. They are led by our Chaplain Rev Dr Claire MacDonald with the Sanders Director of Music, Stephen Taylor, the HMC Choir, our 2025/6 organ scholar Alfred Kelsey, and visiting speakers.

Our gatherings are for everyone: new and returning students and Fellows, long serving members of the College, visitors, and friends. We gather insights, music and words from poetry and song, the worlds’ faiths and beyond. Whoever you are, whoever you love, wherever you come from and whatever you are searching for, you are welcome to come to the chapel and listen to a little music, sit in convivial silence and hear reflections from our speakers.

Change is the theme of our midweek service series this term, and this week's service, entitled Rivers of Change, will be led by our DPhil student Spencer Drake, with music by Peter Warlock, Robert Shaw, and Aaron Copland.
