From world-class research centres to the highly diverse nature of our Fellows’ academic interests, research and scholarship at Harris Manchester play a central role College life. Reflecting our varied student body, the research that takes place here is often interdisciplinary, engaging with the world in practical ways. And many of our Fellows and tutors share another important trait with our students: a significant number have come to academia later in life, after real-life experience in other careers. Whatever their background, however, everyone at HMC shares a belief in and commitment to the wider benefits that are generated by research.
