HMC Fellow Dr Bethany Sollereder co-authors new book

HMC Fellow and Wills Theology Tutor Dr Bethany Sollereder, who is also Associate Professor in Science and Religion at the University of Oxford’s Faculty of Religion and Theology, is among six leading experts to have co-authored a new book on the theological problem of suffering in the non-human world.

Entitled God, Struggling and Suffering in the Evolution of Life, the book seeks to take a collaborative approach to presenting various positions in the debate over questions of resistance to divine will in the non-human creation. Dr Sollereder’s co-authors include the Rev Dr Michael Lloyd, Principal at Wycliffe Hall, and Mark R. Wynn, Nolloth Professor of the Philosophy of the Christian Religion at the University of Oxford.
