Captain Jon Browett OBE will be talking to our Principal, Professor Beth Breeze. From traditional sailing ships to modern frigates and destroyers, Captain Browett has enjoyed a varied and exciting career at sea alongside some remarkable people. Returning to Harris Manchester having studied with the Farmington Institute, he will share stories and lessons from a life at sea and discuss his journey from a small lake in Derbyshire to his current role as the Navy’s Head of Leadership and Culture. He will also offer thoughts on the realities and changing nature of leadership in the Royal Navy – and provide a guaranteed cure for sea sickness!
