Michalina is responsible for day-to-day financial management, overseeing Finance Office activities, payroll, pensions, and statutory compliance. Her role includes maintaining accounting and payroll systems, managing month-end and year-end procedures, as well as preparing management accounts, budgets and financial reports, administering the records of restricted and endowed funds, VAT returns and other regulatory submissions. She also coordinates the annual audit and ensures accurate financial reporting. She works closely with other departments, senior management and external stakeholders, providing financial advice and insight while working on improving financial systems, controls and reporting frameworks across the College.

She has broad financial experience within the College, having progressed from transactional accounting roles into a financial management position as College Accountant.
