Principal elected Chair of Manchester Academy Trust
On 19 January, the trustees of the Manchester Academy Trust met at Harris Manchester College to elect the College’s Principal, Professor Beth Breeze, Chair of the Trust.
Professor Breeze commented: "The Manchester Academy Trust provides support for a range of activities within college including funding our Organ Scholar, Theology students and digitising our archives. The Trust is a valued link to our roots as an 18th century Dissenting Academy. We are proud to celebrate the foresight and generosity of members of the Unitarian church for founding the college in 1776 and providing essential financial, spiritual and practical support ever since."
