Harris Manchester College is delighted to welcome Lisa Smars as its new Director of Alumni Relations and Development.

Lisa joins us from Linacre College where she was Head of Alumni Relations and Development, having previously worked in various roles, including at Oxford University Press, at the Ashmolean and the Saïd Business School. She took up her role at HMC on 12 May.

Lisa brings a wealth of experience to this key role at the College and will be working closely with current Principal, Professor Jane Shaw, and our next Principal, Professor Beth Breeze, on building engagement with our alumni community and on fundraising for projects and major gifts.

Lisa commented: “I’m delighted to be joining HMC to establish the College’s first-ever Alumni Office. Over the next months and years, I will work to more closely connect the alumni not only with the College itself but also with one another. HMC alumni can expect to receive more communications soon with updates on our future plans."
