Degree ceremonies at Oxford are largely unchanged from the second half of the twelfth century, retaining all the essential feature of their ancient predecessors, including the fact that the proceedings are conducted in Latin!
Graduands will process to the Sheldonian Theatre in full academic dress to be presented to the Vice Chancellor and Proctors by Harris Manchester's Dean of Degrees.
