Join us in Harris Manchester’s beautiful arts and crafts chapel for another edition in our Trinity term programme of public conversations with figures from academia, the arts and business.
After a PhD in Virology and Molecular Biology from the University of Birmingham, Nick Roesen went on to co-found a biotech start-up, which he helped build from concept stage through to a 40-strong company. After overseeing the company’s acquisition he went on to serve as Chief Operating Officer in a climate tech start-up. He now works with businesses in an advisory capacity and is an angel investor.
Nick will be in conversation with Harris Manchester’s Bursar, Chris Manning, about what it takes to actually bring good ideas to market, how to scale companies, and the challenge of finding willing investors.
