This form is to make an enquiry for a room. Your booking will be confirmed when you hear back from the Bursary; please do not make arrangements to use the room until you have received confirmation that your request has been approved.

We acknowledge our obligations in law and will ensure that all food preparation, storage and service and the information, training and supervision of all staff / organisers will be in accordance with all the food safety laws and regulations. To this end all our produce will be from a reputable source known to us, we have prepared and will adhere to the principles of a Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points System (HACCP), of which a copy is available on request and all staff / organisers of the event used are trained in food hygiene and will receive appropriate supervision. I hereby agree that Harris Manchester College shall not be held responsible for any consequence due to the consumption of food served at the event above that has been prepared by person/s not employed within the College’s Catering Department.

Prevent Duty

The Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015 requires specified authorities, including universities and Colleges, to have “due regard to the need to prevent people from being drawn into terrorism”. When organizing an event, you have a responsibility to consider the Prevent Duty, and to raise any potential concerns with the College. It may be necessary to address the Prevent risk as part of your overall risk assessment for the event.

You may not use our name, trademarks or logos, or the names, trademarks or logos of the Venue, the University of Oxford, any of its colleges, or Conference Oxford without our prior written consent, except as necessary for inviting and directing Visitors to the Event; nor hold yourself out as a representative of or in any way connected with or affiliated with us, the Venue, the University of Oxford, any of its Colleges or Conference Oxford. You may not advertise the Event to the public by any means without our prior written approval.
