As Bursar, Chris manages the college’s finances and operations. His responsibilities include budgeting, financial planning, and investment oversight; maintaining estates and property; supervising non-academic staff; oversight of HR, welfare and wellbeing; ensuring legal and regulatory compliance; strategic planning; resource allocation; and supporting Health & Safety. He is also the Data Protection and Safeguarding lead.
Before joining Harris Manchester, he worked for Oxfordshire County Council and Oxford United FC, and then for the University where he worked for Business Services and Projects (now part of IT Services) and then the Department of Biochemistry where he was Head of Administration & Finance.
