Jay joined the College's Communications Team in 2026. She is a familiar face at Harris Manchester, currently serving as MCR President for 2025/26, and previously as MCR Secretary in 2024/2025. She cares deeply about making the College a place where postgraduate students feel included, and genuinely at home. She built the MCR website, and founded the Bi-weekly Blast to keep the postgraduate community informed. In 2025, Jay co-launched the MCR Academic Symposium with our College Principal, Prof Beth Breeze, OBE, and MCR Academic and Mature Officer, Robert Gullifer. She is also helping to build one of the College's newest scholarly spaces from the ground up, HMCJ.
