Kate manages the collections and services of the College’s Library and Archives. Alongside the Tate Library, these collections include the College’s heritage holdings, encompassing antiquarian books, unique archival records related to individuals and institutional history, and named collections such as the Carpenter Collection. Kate also oversees the College’s chattels, which comprise pictures, sculpture, and a significant collection of 20th‑century studio pottery.
Kate has worked with research collections throughout her career, including posts at the University of Leeds and the Bodleian Library. She joined the College from Oxford Brookes University in 2020.
She is happy to advise all College members and external researchers on library and archival resources within HMC and across the wider University of Oxford.
